Pictures moving (through) Lusatia – On the road across the region’s screens followed by film discussions.

Founded in 2021, the Sommerfilmakademie in Görlitz invites young filmmakers from all over Europe to come together once a year for two weeks for a  workshop to develop, create and realize film ideas with experienced mentors. The Lausitz Festival and Rashomon are happy to present a selection of these short films as part of a cinema tour followed by film discussions, showcasing the wealth of formats and topics which include teasers, poetic essays, portraits, music clips and fictional features.

With films by Steffen Cieplik, Anna-Maria Schchelchiuk, Lea Hoffarth and more.  

Created and Produced at Sommer.Film.Akademie in Görlitz, a non-profit, volunteer initiative of Rashomon e.V. to support film talents.
